The Nashville Praise Orchestra is an active, all volunteer massed group of musicians dedicated to offering themselves in praise & worship to Jesus Christ. Since their founding in 1996, they have performed concerts and conducted praise services in churches, parks, and arenas across Tennessee and Alabama.

The NPS hosts clinics and workshops for church orchestras as well as individuals so that their musical offering can be a gift of excellence. One of the exciting opportunities for the Nashville Praise Orchestra comes every summer when they take a foreign or domestic mission trip.

Participation in the NPO is open to every Christian musician of at least a good high school level ability; however, music and information is distributed through directors who are a part of the Nashville Instrumental Director's Association. If you belong to a church whose director is not involved with NIDA, the names of directors and locations will be posted on this page's "Announcements" box where music can be picked up for upcoming events.
